South Eastern NC Pagan Pride Day (Official)
Whippoorwill Campground, Beulaville, 300 Brinson Ln, 28518, United States
Pagan pride day. The annual festival. It's continuing mission; to foster pride in the Pagan identity; to seek out new wights and new land spirits; to boldly reduce religious prejudice in the world. Why Support the Pagan Pride Project? Through education, activism, charity, and community, the project promotes tolerance and understanding between people with different belief systems. If you are a Pagan, the project can help you find pride and confidence in your path. If you are not a Pagan, the project can help you understand your Pagan friends, coworkers, and family members.
Join hundreds of magical pagans and pagan friends in 2019 for love light and fun for the most recent PPD in our neck of the woods! The South EasternNC Pagan Pride Day hopes to attract over a thousand pagans, pagan friends and the pagan curious. Open to the general public, this autumn celebration will offer the return of Pagan Pride Day one Saturday in October with both entertainment and education through social, commercial, and spiritual activities. We plan to collect food and household goods for the CHEW Project, supplies and goods for Onslow County Animal Shelter, and as much blood as we can via our blood drive in support of Red Cross of NC. Possum Wood Acres will be there to accept donations, supplies, and to raise awareness as well. :)
We will also be hosting a Trick or Treat event for the children ages 0 to 18. You must be dressed in costume and must pay your entrance fee of a nonperishable food item, household good, or donation to one of the Charities listed above. Once inside, you may be able to go from each participating booth and trick or treat! :)
All are welcome to join or observe ritual, attend workshops, meet local groups, and much more, all in a festival environment full of vendors, music, and fun.
Admission is a donation for one, more, or all of the following; the more the merrier!: The CHEW Project, Onslow County Animal Shelter, Jaded Paws, and PossumWood Acres
