Who wants to make mead?

Join Ren Spidell, and you will discuss and explore history and stories behind various fermented foods popular in Northern Europe, as well as make your first bottle of mead.

We will be making Joe's 'ancient' orange mead. We will also learn about mead. What it is, the science behind it, and why pure live hearth culture ferments are important to connect modern pagans to their ancestral lore.

Bring a plastic gallon bottle of spring water, three lbs of any real honey (biglots or wholefoods sells 3lb bottles $10-$14)

All other ingredients will be supplied.

Glass is not allowed on site.

Everyone will meet at Havasupai ramada, which is the first ramda off of Peoria. Go into the park, and follow the street around and take the first left.
